HER TIME TO PLAY is an all girls basketball camp brought to you this summer by DPRD Athletics and Hooper Mentality Foundation.
HER TIME TO PLAY is a national initiative dedicated to championing change on behalf of girls and women and providing them with ways to connect, collaborate, and actively engage with one another through the game of basketball. The participants are taught skills on the court as well as take part in the curriculum, created in partnership with the Women's Sports Foundation which pairs on-court training with off-court life skills lessons to help:

EMPOWER them to face the challenges of adolescence
TEACH values like teamwork
Location: Northwest Activities Center, 18100 Meyers Rd, Detroit, MI 48235
Dates: Monday June 19th through Wednesday June 21st, 9 am - 2 pm
Ages: 6-14, girls
The Get Bucketz & Hooper Mentality Basketball camp is a co-ed basketball camp for younger ballers, brought to you by DPRD Athletics and Hooper Mentality Foundation.
Participants will be taught fundamental basketball skills and will allow campers to build on these skills over the course of 3 days, while also learning to develop motor skills, interact with other kids, get exercise and have FUN!
Location: Northwest Activities Center, 18100 Meyers Rd, Detroit, MI 48235
Dates: Thursday, June 22nd - Saturday, June 24th 9 am - 2 pm
Ages: 4-10, co ed
Registration Fee: $5
Participants are expected to attend all 3 days of camp. If the first day is missed, the participant may be removed from the program at the discretion of the Director of Athletics.
